Getting started

Does it cost me to use the app?
For the Householder it is free to sign up for the app. Any costs for collection are solely between the householder and the waste carrier.
How do I sign up?
Simply follow the sign-up instructions.
How do I request a pick up?
Build your load - using the graphics and drop-down menus, select what you’re disposing.
How will the wastecarrier know what needs picking up?
Take a picture of all the waste to be collected and upload it to the app

Request a quote

How do I request a quote?
Requesting a quote is easy. Once you’ve recorded what you need to dispose of and taken a photo, click on the ‘Request a Quote’ button. You can choose if you want to request a quote from all the waste carriers using wastetracka in your area or just one or two.
How do I know how much it's going to cost?
Once you’ve submitted your request the waste carrier/s will get back to you with their quotes. You will be notified within the app that quotes have been received.

Accept a quote

How do I acept a quote?
When you’ve received a quote you’re happy with, click on the ‘Accept Quote’ button to choose the carrier you want to deal with.
What if there is more than one quote?
If you’ve requested multiple quotes, there’s a “Decline Quote” button for ones you don’t want.

What happens next?

When is my waste being collected?
The waste carrier you’ve chosen will schedule an agreed pickup time and collect your waste.
How do I know my waste has been collected?
You will receive a notification once your waste has been collected and you will be able to trace its journey through to disposal.
How do I know my waste has been disposed of?
You will also receive a notification once your waste has been disposed.
Who receives payment?
Please note that all collection costs are between the householder and the waste carrier and are not processed through the wastetracka app.
